Introduction :
This course beer AIIMS to introduce the students to the basics of desktop publishing, such as designing developing producing, and presenting documents it also includes instructions on planning, page layout, and the use of templates in the creation of posters, news letters, plus information on the methods of distribution both electronic and written format.
Desktop Publishing :
The process of using the computer and publishing software in order to merge egged in graphics to produce documents (brochures, news latter's, and posters etc)
Graphic Design :
The creative process of integrating design elements.
Design :
The creative process of combining lines, shapes, colours, textures, and text/ type aur effective business communication.
Set-Up :
The preparation all the software to be used for creating the publications involves setting paper size and margins.
Text :
The preparation of all the written parts of the document involves paragraph formatting font selection and laying out of the text input.
Image :
The preparation of pictures, photographs, and other graphical elements of a document, involves cropping, applying colours filters , hue and contrast adjustments etc.
Printing / Uploading :
For print material, the stage involves handing in the soft copy of the document to a professional printer to have the document printed out on printable material, for web content, this involves applying the content to a web page.
Image Manipulation :
Edit or edjusting an images size, shapes, and colours setting.
Scanner :
Hardware that converts reflected from the object being scanned and creates a digital image of the object, these digital images have a resolution predetermined by the scanner settings.
