Auto used to store virus type of data or information. These are the major component in a computer. There are many types of files but they can be broadly classified into two types :-
(1) Master File
(2) Transaction File.
Master File & Transaction File :
These file permanent in nature and their data is not change frequently whereas, transaction file data of the day today function and data can be used for future updation of the master file.
The best file system is that which bring the information for the file as soon as possible with little amount of data inputs. The file systems generally used as given below. There is to types of file system.
(1) Index Sequential File System :
This system is used where the number file is very large. An index is required to keep the records of all files. The disadvantage of this file system is that the indexing takes space and for searching the file the index most be searched. First this file system is used in hard disc data searching.
(2) Direct Access File System :
This system is used where the sequence of the files does not matter. The file are quickly accessed, as no index searching is required to find the files. By using this file system you can access the data in the quickest way. It takes the less space, it is used in CD data searching.
